Think about it guys
"Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly. "
~ Stephen R. Covey
Time to burn that passion of yours yourselves.

Kayaking Videos
Hey guys, below are some of the links that zhen xiao personally recommended for the K rowers to take a look at, please do read the respective captions to get a clearer idea of what is happening in the video.
For this one (Adam Van Koeverden) it's quite complicated but it basically talks about how the boat should be balanced during rowing. Listen to the commentator. What he is saying is that the boat only tilts when the paddle exits the water.
This next dude tim brabants has quite an unorthodoxed style but hes still a world champion nonethless. If you watch carefully basically his punching hand is well above his head. Try not to follow that but instead focus on his twisting motion.
This video offers a very good close up view on the actual rotation. But what to really look out for is that he is actually pulling away from the boat and not pulling so close to the boat i.e. its like he is creating a triangular shape converging at the tip of the boat. This is due to him actually keeping his pulling arm straight and using the body twisting motion as the main source of power.
This one is a good view of Van Koeverden in slow motion.
Whereas this is like the side view profile.
This one is multiple views, as you can see Van Koeverden also does the triangluar shape pulling thingy i.e. not pulling right at the side of his boat.
Now a tim brabants video but its more like an interview with some footage as well.
Do go and youtube some videos especially for the C rowers cause i couldnt get access to a C rowing senior who has like the good video links. Right now its not exactly convenient to ask jairus also so yah go and search for C1 500m, 1000m etc.
Same for K rowers go search for K1 500m, 1000m flat water kayaking, youtube is a sea of knowledge waiting to be explored and dissected.
Dont just watch, think, learn and practise!
If i have more resources i will post, so should the rest of you! Let's all help to make each other better.
Loves,
Jin Fu
